CCG PCR 8
The CCG PCR 8 Film Recorder: The Digital-to-Film Solution for Digital Archives.
Based on the Agfa line of digital film recorders, the PCR 8 takes CRT technology to new heights:
With dynamic focussing, flare reduction filter and auto-calibration by photo-sensor, the results are faithful, high-resolution reproductions
of digital originals.
The unique 35mm bulk module is the first innovation in film recorder camera technology in over a decade:
The robust, micro-controlled system with its self-threading, virtually maintenance-free loading and transport mechanism guarantees reliable
operation with minimal training. Split magazines with 30 or 120m capacity ensure maximum operational flexibility. Integrated film cutters
make unloading partial rolls easy.
The PCR 8 can be calibrated to work with virtually any 35mm film stock, be it microfilm, color negative,
b/w or x-ray. In addition, the PCR 8 can also be fitted with still cameras for the 120 medium and 4x5" format.
The PCR 8 seamlessly connects to any PC and easily integrates into any network environment and exisiting workflow. The software tools
offer both drag&drop convenience and allout versatility.
Special application requirements can quickly be implemented into the graphical user interface. The advanced calibration algorithm matches
digital images of all formats to the characteristics of any film stock and laboratory process, ensuring faithful color reproduction day after
day.
Due to its high affordability and minimal maintenance the PCR 8 easily surpasses larger systems in terms of price-performance. Paired with
its exceptional image quality, this makes the PCR 8 the ideal digital-to-film solution for digital archives.
